This section will contain all sorts of random pieces of software that I’ve either been requested to write or utilize personally on a daily basis. The section will be formatted as follows…
ApplicationName v1.0 [x86 | x64] <—Download
- Application description! I will tell you what the application does here.
Notice those two links, x86 and x64? You’ll need to click and download the one that corresponds to your Windows operating system. If you have no idea what x86 or x64 is, then download the x64 one first. If that doesn't work or gives an error, then try the x86 version. Not all applications will have an x64 version, only when specifically required for different situations. In the event that an x64 version is not available, download the x86 package and it should still function properly.
Also note the versioning system I’ve decided to utilize. If the version is less than v1.0, then the product is BETA and either hasn’t been fully tested or has known issues. You can click the version to get application specific release noted and more information. Version v1.0+ is a final release and has been fully tested, please report any bugs, errors, or issues you encounter while using any application which is version v1.0 or higher. Version v2.0 normally indicates significant advantages and improvements over the old version, which might not be noticeable in the program interface, but rather in the source code itself. Versions between v1.0 and v2.0 are in the process of being improved, but should still be stable. I know this versioning system isn’t standard by any means, but since most of these apps will only have 1 major release, I find it fitting.
Print Unlocker v2.0 [ x86 | x64 ] <— Download
- Print Unlocker is a very simplistic program that simply fixes locked-up printers. It works by stopping the print spooler service, clearing the print cache, and restarting the spooler service. Effectively unlocking most print situations gone awry.
Warcraft II Portable v0.5 [Download]
- Warcraft II [Tides of Darkness] is an old DOS game released by Blizzard quite sometime ago and is now classified as abandonware. This is for Blizzard enthusiast, as the game is no longer supported, nor can you purchase the game legally.
RDP Portable v1.0 [Download]
- This is Microsoft’s official and untouched Remote Desktop Protocol client packed into a portable format. Perfect for WinPE environments [BartPE], TinyXP, Windows 2000, or any other Microsoft operating system [official or not] that didn’t include an RDP client.
Nuke v1.0 [ x86 | x64 ] <— Download
- Want your RAM back? Nuke kills all non-required processes.
